Komatsu Mining Germany is the Komatsu manufacturing facility for super large hydraulic mining shovels in Europe. It started as “Demag Komatsu”, a joint venture between “Mannesmann Demag” and “Komatsu Ltd. Japan”, in1996, to develop, manufacture and market super large hydraulic mining shovels. In 1999, it was renamed as Komatsu Mining Germany GmbH.
Komatsu Mining Germany concentrates on the development and manufacturing of large hydraulic mining shovels. Komatsu is one manufacturer to supply a full range of products worlwide, with large hydraulic mining shovels, large dump trucks, large wheel loaders, large dozers and graders, for the international mining industry. Komatsu is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
